A Really Enjoyable City Trip
Charlotte is a super clean and walkable city, especially around Uptown. It's got a great feel, with modern buildings next to green spaces. We loved wandering through Romare Bearden Park. It's an easy city to get around and see a lot in a few days.
So Much To Do Outside
Had an amazing day at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. It's wild to have that kind of adventure so close to a major city. Perfect for active people. The rest of the city also feels very green and open, which was a pleasant surprise.
Cool Arts and Breweries
Charlotte has some really interesting neighborhoods outside the main center. We explored NoDa and found cool street art and shops. The craft beer scene is impressive with lots of local spots.
A Must for Racing Fans
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is incredible, a must-see for any fan. The exhibits are so interactive. The rest of the city has a big sports culture with plenty of bars. You can feel the energy.
Fun and Lively Area
The South End is full of life. We walked the Rail Trail and stopped at a few breweries. The pimento cheese fries we tried were a delicious local treat. It's a great area for an evening.
More Than Meets the Eye
The museums were impressive. The Levine Museum of the New South gave a powerful look into the region's history. It's a city that seems to balance its past and future very well.
